The Sun no.2

I keep repeating and reminding myself that we can find all the answers in nature. I love learning from nature, so my creativity is always inspired by it. It's about the individual elements of nature and the interactions between them and humans.

Even starting with the process of creating ceramics, we can see wonderful connections to the sun's influence on the earth. Clay is shaped just like the sun shapes the seasons and the cycles of life. However, true transformation only happens through fire. Just as the sun’s heat gives life and form to our world, the kiln’s fire breathes life into the clay, turning it into a resilient and lasting sculpture.

The sun teaches us several important life lessons. First, just as the sun has its purpose and turns night into day, giving life to the earth, each of us has our purpose. When realized, it can contribute to making the planet a better place to live. This reminds me of service, which we can also learn from the sun by observing how it gives its light without expecting anything in return. We are so drawn to its warmth that we constantly chase it around the world. For me, this is a valuable reminder. Finally, the sun continues its journey across the sky uninterrupted. It rises every single day, teaching us perseverance and consistency in pursuing our goals.
